The town of Frisco, CO, installed a long pole with a platform near the Marina. The Ospreys were nesting. There were actually 4 ospreys in the nest. We think one was the momma and she had flown just as we were setting up to take pictures. This is one of the babies with its wings spread.
Super catch of this bird showing off its impressive wingspan. I've been watching an Osprey cam for much of the summer; sadly the eggs were not fertile but a Conservation team had some eggs that had been rescued and were able to slip them in the nest. They've since hatched and are growing like crazy, the last I checked.
