Klyde Warren Park by lynne5477

Klyde Warren Park

The 5.2-acre deck park is an urban green space built over the recessed Woodall Rodgers Freeway in downtown Dallas, near the Arts District. We took our son to the park today with the intent to have lunch at the Food Truck park. However, we got there just as the trucks were closing up.
You certainly wouldn't think downtown Dallas looking at this. Very nicely composed.

It's fantastic when cities make an oasis of beauty like this. I like the symmetry you create with you comp.

@hermann Thanks for all your wonderful comments. The park is about a 1/2 mile long and lays directly on top of the freeway, which is really now a 5 or 6 lane tunnel that you drive through. @milaniet @dmdfday @leestevo @peterday @lyndemc
