Anticipation by maggiemae

Anticipation

of a hot day - the sheep gather under the tree. On a distant hillside on my morning bike ride. Still aren't too happy with the zoom - which is not good focus. But this picture reminds me of a painting - it might be an Australian one and that is why I left the minimal colourings as is!
Beautiful

Not a bad image MaggieMae but lacks the depth of colour and the crisp focus that you normally produce. Is this what you mean by "Still aren't too happy with the zoom. " ??

@tonydebont I did that purposely, Tony - faded the colour - it reminded me of an old painting I've seen somewhere! The crisp focus is the zoom problem!

@chard Maybe thats what it was - no the faded greens was not a photo - think it was Edwardian!

This is quite gorgeous! and that tree must be just huge because the sheep look so small next to it.

Nice capture- I sort of like the semi- unfocused feel. It gives it a dreamlike quality.

I think the soft color looks good, and I agree, it does remind you more of a painting.

I like it a lot. It does look like a painting. I love all things sheep! One of my lenses stopped autofocusing this week and I'm in a mess.

@ptowncook Oh, dear - hope it can be fixed - might have to go on manual?
