How great to see a postcard from Mr Man, our Nuts'n'Bolts man and his travelling lady, Yolanda! Best read enlarged.
For those of you who don't know Mr Man - he has been on many adventures in some parts of the world, all over the South Island of NZ and now he is going further afield. The tag "Nuts'n'Bolts" find all the pictures and descriptions
Well I didn't think anyone sent postcards any more, I was obviously wrong!!!!
I think Yolanda is courting trouble leaning on the wall in her short skirt in the city of love, I think Mr Nuts & bolts man needs to have words with his lady friend!!!
I think she is definitely in the mood to drink too many ''Flaming Llamborghinis '' if Mr Man plays his cards right .............!!!
What a life! I would love to see Venice! I sure enjoyed Mr. Man's travel notes. Jollipolly better beware of those Italian Casanovas...you really have to watch them. I was in Rome on my honeymoon and not even safe with my husband holding my hand ...LOL! One followed us in his motorcycle all the way to our hotel (Cavieleri Hilton at that time) way up in the hills. That Kahlua drink sounds delicious. I think I'm ready for a vacation!!!!!
@yonnie Thanks Yvonne for following through my pictures. I thought I might turn the lace into Peter Pan collars and give them to friends! Or maybe a doilie or two....ahem!
@frida The islands around Venice are so beautiful with their coloured houses right on the canal. Another island called Murano has wonderful glass sculptures.
Oh I just love these postcards you make my dear! And sounds like they are having a mighty fine trip! I have never been to Venice and always wanted to go! Is it as beautiful as everyone says??
@kbalychev It is out of this world, Kimberly - the canals are many, dark and the colourful houses rise up beside these waters. The canal boats are driven by guys who don't quite make the opera scenes but are much loved singing Italian opera as they pole down the waterways!
@anden Thank you Anatoly - Mr Man has relatives in Russia - a story that comes from my own mother who had a sister who left England in 1929 while they were both on a trip there from NZ. She went with a Russian to Moscow and had a child who is my cousin. She stayed there for the rest of her life but did visit NZ once. Her grandchildren have been given a trip by another relative to NZ in April this year and I will meet with them.
