Turkish Delight by maggiemae

Turkish Delight

This is a painting I did of our boat moored in a Turkish bay. There was actually only one boat, ours, but I thought the picture needed two! I am not asking for good words, as I could have done much better now having more experience in the photographic side. I am just putting it in for today's picture.
Good words needed or not, I really like the mood this conveys and the brightness of it.

I love the bright colors against the dark background. Did you really have been in Turkey with your own boat? That's a seems a very long distance from your home.

@noragentian we went on a big world tour that time, Ruth. Hired a boat and sailed up the west coast of Turkey! It was brilliant except things on the boat kept breaking down!

Brilliant shot, and beautiful painting. the way you darkened the frame space around the painting made it look like a view from a window overlooking the bay. Thanks for the clarification. fav!
