This is actually a flower that comes on a particular potted fern I have. These tiny yellow flowers come out but don't get any bigger and eventually die and you cut the whole stem off.
Three good things:
1. The library here was warm and full of quiet people reading papers, or on their computers.
2. Love the different architecture that one sees on 365.
3. Turned the TV off tonight and there was just the sound of the fire and the cat purring!
Love all your good things today...something about winter & a fire that draws me even in the hot weather we are having at the moment!
Quite a bizarre plant, all those little yellow balls...sort of futuristic somehow!
@zambianlass thanks, Miss Zambia - we have amongst us different subjects and it extends us to see what is being posted as the photo of the day, - it doesn't have to be the best photo!
I like many others haven't seen this plant before , what a nice way to spend a peaceful evening, we are looking after our daughters cat whilst they are away for a couple of weeks
is the plant indigenous to new zealand? i must say I've not seen anything like this at all even in books. it is quite intriguing, the flowers; i can't decide if i'm imagining bodies diving or swimming. don't mind me, i have the weirdest imagination ever.
I agree about the different architecture on this site--fabulous and so interesting, eh ; ) Sometimes it's great to turn off the TV.
PS... Just love your TGTs tonight. :)
