Mugs'n'jugs by maggiemae

Mugs'n'jugs

The crest of our family is accentuated here on these two mugs. The tartan is of course, the Munro tartan but the words on the crest are a bit daunting! However in ye olden tymes "dread" meant respect!

Three good things:
1. John's nickname for his sister is "Mugs" Real name Margaret like mine
2. Its Black Friday but a black cat walked over my path (it was in the SPCA)
3. Team NZ won again in the Yacht Race in the USA! Its now 6 wins to 1! They only have to get 3 more!
Nice high key shot!. I like the crest.

Vee
I have a friend named "Mugs" and her name is Margaret also! BTW, Margaret is my middle name so I guess I could be called "Mugs"?!

Good job you explained the meaning as it does feel rather daunting but respect makes sense! Fancy having a family crest, tartan is very popular this winter over here !!

Beautiful crest, and great colours!

Pretty much what it says in the Bible when it says to, "Fear God." It doesn't mean to be afraid of Him but to respect Him.

Isn’t it fantastic that Team New Zealand is doing so well!
September 13th, 2013

September 14th, 2013
Love the high key finish and the mugs are so pretty. Love the crest and tartan border.

Nicely composed shot, Maggiemae. Interesting about the crests. Wish my family heritage was normal, so to speak. We did not know the truth until my Dad was 62 and forever changed what we knew.
