Sailing in the sky

The gondolas in Queenstown NZ travel high up a steep mountain. The views are tremendous and we were lucky with the weather as the clouds were not hiding the many mountain peaks.

Three good things:
1. A wonderful buffet lunch at the restaurant with mussels, prawns, and the usual meats very well presented and cooked.
2. John's 80th birthday was celebrated in style!
3. Nobody believes he is 80!

Congratulations and Happy Birthday John! 80 is awesome! And it looks like this was the perfect trip to celebrate it with. Although I get butterflies in my stomach big time on these gondola rides, I love going on them because of the beauty you get to see. Great shot! So blue!
