.... of a life! My brother-in-law died and these flowers were sent to his wife who is in a rest home having had a bad stroke 4 years ago. She can't talk and is paralysed down one side so the sight of this posy gave her much pleasure.
Three good things;
1. Now in Auckland and there is high winds and torrential rain. Its good that we have a big hotel room even if we have to pay for internet!
2. I made a slideshow of Bruce and was able to use my newly learnt photographic skills to improve the old photos.
3. The ability to listen
Oh man this sounds like a hard time for your family. I am glad you have been able to be there for them. Yes, listening is sometimes the best gift we can give.
A beautiful bouquet of delicate colours --What a hard time all of you have had ! But pleased these flowers gave your sister in law some pleasure and comfort at such a time ! A lovely capture !
What a lovely bouquet for your sister in law! is she aware what is going on? It must be especially difficult for her! Very thoughtful of whoever sent the flowers!
@jackie8 thank you Jackie! - she touched certain flowers in this bouquet and could murmur sounds of pleasure at particular ones, like the hellebores, winter rose!
They are so pretty- I'm glad they brought your sister-in-law some joy. I'm also glad you were able to celebrate your brother-in-law's life by using your photo skills. I have a feeling that meant an awful lot to his family. Very pretty.
Such a lovely bouquet for your sister-in-law - and such a trying time for your family - I know you are a great blessing to them - keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
Sorry for your loss
