Once upon a time there was an autumn leaf. Some time later, the tale of the Leaf got a little twist..
From this turn of event, Madame Leaf decided to smile in spite of the sorrow she knew from falling from her own Giant Tree!. As Charlie Chaplin said, "“You'll never find a rainbow if you're looking down”
Three good things;
1. I’ve thought of a good way of avoiding having to do dishes! You just throw the food at your face then have a shower!
2. There were two Leaf photos - one was nice and pretty with bokeh and the other is as above.
3. I biked all the way down to the Post office to post a parcel but forgot to take my wallet. Back on the bike and by increasing the power on my electric bike, I caught up and passed this young and healthy schoolboy on his bike! What did he think, being passed by a Senior!
This would make a lovely illustration in a kids book and you could write a story around the picture. Your story of passing the your boy on your bike really made me laugh, shame you couldn't take a picture of his face as you sailed by.
You always make me laugh maggiemae...it's a great gift you have on here!
I would love to have seen the boys face when you passed him, priceless!
I'm sure I have seen a book with a very similar character shaped like this.....he looks fun!!
I have often thought that instead of stacking dishes in the sink you could stack them on the shower floor, and voila, the next time you take a shower the dishes are done!! Love all your stories, and how you have made that little leaf feel so special....and, that young boy, not so much!!
I was laughing out loud just imagining the visual impact of your #1! And #2 and #3 were pretty funny too!
I would love to have seen the boys face when you passed him, priceless!
