Towering over the holiday cottages near Mangawhai north of Auckland on the east coast.
We sat an looked at this view while lunching at the old historic tavern which is right above this tidal river.
Three good things:
1. Lovely hot day - up to 25 deg C
2. Watching a huge earth moving machine making a new driveway in the property we are in.
3. Really good pork sausages for tea.
Great watching others work, John would be interested in watching them digging. A rather modern structure across the bay there. That is one very large sand hill.......
