Its not spring weather here, in fact its quite surprising! Snow further inland and out here late today was a dark cloud where some lightening and thunder was seen! I didn’t see any but managed to get the hovering dark shape from our deck.
Three good things:
1. The blossom is still (almost) on the trees. If I was getting married, I’d stand underneath it. Maybe I will anyway!
2. Lesley ( @kiwichick )is in NZ to visit her family and she bought a book from me which I sent to her mother according to her wishes! How nice! Some good NZ photos to come?
3. Cloud formations in the early and late evening were spectacular!
@phil_howcroft I agree Phil! That flat underside with all those curves in it was ominous but it just sailed out to sea and disappeared! Some poor boat will get it!
What an amazing photo. I thought you'd photoshopped waves to the sky, but those are really your clouds! It's been crazy weather here in Welly. Yesterday was cold, dark and windy with some rain. Today, beautiful sunshine and hot! Thanks for sending the book. Maybe it'll arrive tomorrow before we head north. Otherwise it'll be a surprise for her on our return in 2 weeks.
