Our Train journey was interrupted by the news that ahead lay serious renovation to the railroad and we had to detrain at Austin (an appearing lovely city) and head towards Fort Worth by bus. No space, no privacy, one poor woman who visited the toilet one too often, meant I had to find the good things:
At the Water Park here in Fort Worth which is an engineering delight,… there was a real wedding! A water background and at the time they could now kiss… John yodelled! Nobody noticed!!
Three Good Things:
1. A good view of a different part of Texas - Austin to Fort Worth - better growth - better rainfall.
2. Got the room in the hotel straight away in spite of being told it would not be available for another 2 hours. John put his angry face on!
3. Almost got invited to Mass at a beautiful old Cathedral! Chickened out!
A bit of a twist in the travel plans but glad you are making the best of it. Bridesmaid dresses and cowboy boots - makes me almost wish I had had a turn at being a bridesmaid, if I could have dispensed with the high heels and toe squeezing options.
Beautiful soft light yet an unusual cowboy theme with hats & boots to match. The feel of the photo is quite surreal, they should be wearing ballet shoes perhaps! Love that guy's beard! I'm all for cowboy boots, I love country music! I would have gone to the mass, I love going to foreign churches!
You are definitely in Texas where they say " the higher the hair, the closer to God". :) My cousin also got married in cowboy boots and a short shirt, like the Maid of Honor. My brother lives in Austin now. :)
Well, if this isn't a cowboy wedding, I don't know what is! Although it surprises me they're having it next to the swimming pool and not in a field somewhere. No matter- it's a great shot!
Hey congrats on your Top Twenty shot !!
