This place in Christchurch by the beach is obviously the place to surf, gather, walk the dogs - so many!
We had a date scone and good coffee while watching the passing traffic - and walking back to our RV, saw this! It is just an icon!
Three good things:
1. My experience on 365 taught me a lot with light, and focus….. I was thanked a lot for my photos.
2. Watching life go by just out of our window - bikes, runners, dog walkers etc!
3. I put some washing out on the line at our new campsite - good wind, then a heavy rain shower ruined the idea of actually wearing some of these!
Aaw !! just such happy memories -- a long time ago my dad has a red "Beetle " and Rod and I had a beige coloured "Beetle " Fun days when all "Beetle" owners used to hoot and wave to one another !! Thanks for the memories !! fav
Makes me think of carefree hippy days. My Dad had two beetles. He bought two together so that he could use one for parts and keep the other going for longer. We would go around as a family of five in these.
Love it. That could also be a scene from our southern California coast. Oh, we do miss our little blue VW we had for 23 years until it was stolen. Never recovered.
My brother had one years ago. Looks like this one is still being put to good use and judging from the front bumper it one of the oldest models. Great shot.
