We have 8 kowhai trees, 2 of which are winter flowering and called something else which I can't remember. These are the spring ones and transform a twiggy tree into hanging flowers of gold everywhere!

@ludwigsdiana They all do Diana! The people next door had a large kowhai and it blew over in a storm. They said they were so grateful their neighbours (us!) had such good kowhai!
