We just about always have fish and chips on Fridays - not Catholics but just a nice routine and fish is always good to include in your menu. Not so, chips but then I don't have to prepare, cook them (they come frozen) so Friday nights are easy and delicious!
@beryl Yes, indeed, Beryl - you should ask! The fish is hardly recognisable as fish, coated in thick batter. But it cooks beautifully in a hot fan oven.
I rarely eat chips, but I did have calamari chips and salad yesterday when we were out for lunch after our walking group walk. I did give David most of my chips though.
We almost always have fish and chips on Friday, but then we are Catholic. Your chips look very good. My new oven has a fan in it as yours does and says it’s an air fryer option. The only difference I can think of is that it’s much bigger than a regular air fryer.
