We remember the beautiful old tea pots and cups of history. In this up-market department store this pottery took my eye! I would love to share a cup of tea with this wonderfully designed set.

Ooh for that age of elegance Maggie! today seems to be the age of the mugs - but I must admit I do have china mugs! tea tastes so much better! - Hope all goes well with your eye procedure - a friend of mine has those injections!

That is a very handsome tea set. The shine & colour are exceptional. Has a hint of the East perhaps? The days when we brewed tea in a teapot in this house is sadly gone , ah except next week when we have John in on B&B for five nights. He will have a teapot but not as pretty as this one!
I can see why this set caught your eye. It is so cheerful. Love your capture of it. A close friend of mine that lives near has had those shots with great results.
