Reality With A Twist by mamabec

Reality With A Twist

At my Camera Club tonight, the photo challenge was "Reality With a Twist." Since I'm not up to speed on Elements YET, I used (now don't laugh) Face Melter on my iPad to mess with this photo. A photo of this bridge (without the twist) can be found at this link:

Becky, I downloaded the original and it is simply beautiful. The lighting and detail in that shot is amazing. This photo is a little scary as it looks like it is melting due to a fire or something else disastrous. Quite creative and executed well!

@seattle
Thank you Constance. Our Siuslaw Bridge is really unique and beautiful. It is quite iconic for our area. I think there are seven or eight bridges on the coast that were designed and built by the same man. Getting photos of all of them and all the lighthouses along the Oregon Coast are on my list.

Yes, I took the original. It's in my 2011 Album for 365 - I divided my first year into a separate album. The original is in September 8, I think. Thank you for your nice comment.

Oh Becky . . this is awesome! You did a fabulous job with this without losing the original subject and perspective. What bridge is this . . it's not the one between Washington state and Oregon, is it? It's so stunning . . I LOVE this composition.

Thank you Karenann. This bridge is the Siuslaw Bridge and goes over the Siuslaw River on the Central Oregon Coast.

Thank you Nicole, Sharon and Paul. I thought it had a Harry Potter feel to it and my husband said, "Looks like about a 9.5"
