Today, my cousin took me on a field trip about 10 miles beyond the last power pole on this road near me. This is a place that the sun seldom shines and frankly, the sun didn't make it through the rain clouds all day today. The moss on the trees and rocks on this backroad is quite amazing. Intense color, very quiet, peaceful and my cousin spotted an elk in the middle of some Skunk Cabbage. We came home wet from the rain but with a few shots on our cameras. Since I'm not driving yet, I have to be driven everywhere I need to go - luckily my cousin (@peaches) is doing 365 too!
This is a beautiful shot. Love the different greens you captured. I was in Portland yesterday and noticed all the moss in the area that I had not seen on previous visits. Well captured.
