Looking Back ~ A Barrel of Fun

This is a barrel cactus. Cactus can be quiet beautiful. I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona so I'm familiar with most all desert plants. My dad and I were "rock hounds" and would spend all day in the desert looking for specific types of rocks to take home, put in the tumbler and convert to jewelry. Special man, special times, special memories... I miss my dad.
