Shorebirds

These shorebirds are amazing. When startled they fly back and forth before landing on the sand again. I'm sure they are eating whatever the waves bring in.

We saw them the other night at Heceta Beach. Tonight @ Cape Perpetua, it was pelicans. Love the shadow on the beach!

Reflections are some of my favorite photo catches. I loved that the wind wasn't blowing this trip to the beach.
