It's pretty barren, but beautiful in its own way. This sun broke through the clouds and lit up this mountain range. The open roads of Nevada have a pretty high speed limit so this one was taken from the car window while we were going 75 miles per hour.

Well, I've begun to perfect this technique - LOL. I wind down the window (and at that speed, it just about blows out my ear drums). I wrap the camera strap around my arm (incase the wind blows it out of my hands). Then I focus on a distant object. The foreground shows the movement, but the middle and far ground come out pretty good. This one I cropped a bit of the sky and cropped out the part not infocus at the bottom and you see what is left. I kept my 18-105 lens at 18 and click several shots before I roll the window back up again and my husband and I spend the next 30 seconds popping our ears that plug from the pressure caused by winding up the window. There, you have it.
