Meet our newest invasive species

The truly frightening Joro spider. It's the size of my hand, weaves an enormous golden web, and lays 1000 eggs at a time. They are suddenly everywhere!
That is scary! I Googled it because my grandson was just telling me about some huge spiders at Fort Benning. They called them banana spiders and online they look a lot like Joro spiders, but apparently they are 2 different species.
