Filler from one of last week's storms. Everything was so thirsty for water. I know my maple tree was happy! The ground soaked it right up!
Got the backyard mowed this afternoon. Wasn't a dry stitch on me when I got back in the house. It's so damn hot and humid! Ugh! Will see if I can't get a good start on the front tomorrow after I tend to a little business.
Lovely shot--you always manage to get bokeh and it's beautiful in this shot. I'm glad there is something for them to soak up ; ) Hope you even get more soon. Good luck with all you have going on.

Pretty black and white. I am glad you got some rain. Rain alludes this area. It is hot and dry. We are having basement foundation work done. Would you believe the workers did not hit moist dirt until 6-8 feet down!
@lynnb Thank you, Lynn! It won't stay that way very long in this heat without more rain though. In the past five years, the grass stayed brown from July through September, only to green up a little before the winter months. This year we've gone from severe drought status to moderate drought status.
