Briza minor by marlboromaam

Briza minor

Shot in black and white. I discovered this tiny little fascinating wild grass last year. Common name is lesser quaking grass. Non-native from Europe, but documented growing wild in the Carolinas and Georgia. More info here - http://namethatplant.net/plantdetail.shtml?plant=4173
What a fun little grass! They look like little bundles of Shredded Wheat.

@ljmanning Thank you, Laura! The little bundles are very unusual. They remind me of something but I can't put my finger on it. =)

When you enlarge it, you can really see those little bundles - real nice b&w shot
