Morning light in the pine...

Long needle pines grow two feet per year and can grow up to 150 feet tall. I had to have one cut down behind my little house that was almost 100 feet tall. Five houses stacked on top of each other would not match the height of that pine. Did I mention they snap like toothpicks in hurricane force winds? The weight of the trunks can easily crush cars and houses.
A white pine? It has a softness that our Ponderossa Pines lack.
