My left eye never learned to cooperate. It does its own thing, so to speak. In this picture I tried to visualise some of its behaviour.
To sum things up: the subject is way out of the focal point, the perspective is out of sync, the image is a bit blurry due to multiple overlays and because of that the colours are slightly different. But only if I close the 'good' eye! Otherwise the image is completely blocked out except for the part the good eye cannot catch. No depth in my world. It is more like a moving flat surface or photograph.
The bad eye can only read important news (as in large headlines). The good eye does all the work but it has a pretty hard time reading tiny letters nowadays.
Both eyes suffer from minimal vitreous clouding which is part of aging, I guess. But they will both recognize this sweet dog flawlessly from far away :-)
@kali66 That's not so nice. Does that bother you a lot? I mean, I'm used to it. It doesn't bother me but I can imagine how irritating it can be when you 'see' these things for the first time, and they won't go away...
@kali66 After finishing the edit I realised the 'bad' image was way to sharp. haha. The double layer is much worse and further away in real life. Also the brighter parts outshine the dark parts much more. I did it again.
I notice it most after i have been making a rug ie close work for a length of time then go outside and things in the distance appear ghosted. eg. looking at the powerlines , if i look with one eye closed each eye has its own ghost but they dont align exactly so there are 3 copies . It seems to come and go for me though.
