We purchased these star anise years ago for a very complicated Asian dish. They were used once. Many other spices have come and gone, most used in cooking, some ignored and eventually thrown out, but these pungent little stars, remain taking up valuable shelf real estate space due their fascinating aroma and appearance 🌟
