Note that there is no comma in the quote. Tag Challenge 74. My tags were "fun" and "morning" so I decided to make funny-face pancakes with my little 6-year-old niece. I confess that our fun session got delayed, so we actually made them early afternoon and had them for lunch. But the bonus was that she then brought her cousin along, who is 11 and a very talented and imaginative artist.
She's particularly good at drawing horses, so you will notice the pancake cut in the shape of a horse, with letters cut from raw apple spelling "HORSE." Her other creation was a rabid dog which she named after her dog Lucy (who is not actually rabid!) Note the foaming mouth and the collar, leash, and dog tag made from blueberries and a slice of strawberry.
The white, whipped cream hair on the pancake seen in the upper left reminded us of my mother (grandmother to my niece) and so we called it "Grandma." Said niece gave us the quote of the day (quote of the week!) as she finished eating said pancake: "I'm done eating Grandma!"
There was WAY more fun than photography, though my sister-in-law (mother to the niece and auntie to the cousin) came along armed with her camera and her iPhone and took pictures too. The tag challenge was my excuse for pancake hilarity. It became almost an afterthought, but here is my entry.
