I took this picture two weeks ago. The cones really were this bright in the early evening light. But for emphasis I've removed the color from everything else (now that I know how to do that).
@phordy@helendyne@twistergirl Thanks! I was really proud of myself for learning how to do it in PS Elements 6. Thankfully the cones are simple enoughgraphic shapes that I was able to get them outlined with the smart little "quick selection tool," then invert the selection to everything else that is not the cones, and remove the color. I'm like a little kid; I get so excited figuring out some of these things, one little step at a time. But there is sooooo much more I need to learn.
