Not quite the green we're envisioning for the addition to our house we hope they'll be starting to build very, very soon.
OK, this is the stupidest thing yet. I beg you NOT to view it large as it is also sloppily done. But I was panicked by the thought that I might actually not get anything posted for the tag challenge I MYSELF am hosting. Tags: chocolate and building. I thought of driving to Abilene and taking a tour of the Russell Stover factory. But that's an hour's drive away...I so wish I was producing beautiful and inspired photography. And instead, gimmicky, somewhat out of focus, I can't believe I spent time on PS Elements trying to make something of it...but this is what I have. I was reduced to taking four Andes chocolate boxes off the shelf at the grocery this morning, arranging them on the floor and getting down at floor level (or nearly) to photograph them. I didn't even have a clear idea of what I would do with it. THAT, my friends, is desperation.
If I suddenly and miraculously have something better before the end of Monday, you can bet I'll put it up. In the meantime, I have the consolation of knowing that my offering isn't eligible for consideration as an official challenge entry, anyway.
BTW, we ARE thinking of having the addition and first floor (lap siding portion) of the existing house painted a kind of sage green of some sort. And a medium brown where there is shingle. God, I hope it looks better than this!
@kittikat Well, only the Andes mints part. Our house I photographed from across the street. . So, yeah, with the expense of the addition coming up I didn't feel Iike purchasing four boxes of mints; I did photograph them right in the candy, cookie, and soda pop aisle. I'm very glad no one came down it while I took two or three shots as quickly as I could. My mom was several aisles ahead of me.
