While I was at work this afternoon, this is what the construction crew did. We now have subfloor on the addition, except for where the back porch will be, and except for a space all the way around where I think they will be joining floor joists to the existing house.
This morning I had movers come from "Three Men and a Truck and Trailer" (except I only needed two men and a truck so that's what they sent.) They moved furniture from living room, dining room, and kitchen into a cargo container the contractor had arranged to be put in the back where one of our two cars normally would be parked. We didn't have the two guys move the piano. The project manager, Daemon, said he could work around it, so they just swiveled it around to the far end of the living room and we'll cover it up. When they get to doing the floors eventually, we can move it onto the porch for a few days.
It's great when all the building prep work finally gives something you can see towards the end product. Have you thought of making a time lapse video of the progress?
