The line seemed to be going back in two different directions. I took this from the other side of the open area. Frank and I decided this year to start in the other room where they had CDs, DVDs, paperback romances and mysteries etc. Strangely enough, then, we bought very few books. He bought some mysteries and a few humor books from the main room. I bought one book from the main room. We did buy a whole lot of music. Maybe we are realizing we have more books than shelves. CDs are, well, more compact (duh) and, after all, one can never have too much music. Yes, I know that 3,000+ LPs in the new "LP Storage Room" in the addition does seem a bit excessive...
I like the two-story view here -- the peek into the children's room on the first floor.
This is the last of my black and white "flash-o-red" February, but it is definitely not the last of my black and white. This month has given me a great opportunity to think in terms of "Do I want/need color?" and become more comfortable with composing in B&W.
I spent some time this morning in PS Elements trying to select and tone down the two super bright spots -- one guy's hair and another man's hat -- but not to my satisfaction. I finally realized I have much more important things to do -- as I still do. So I'll shut up, post these last February photos, and get dressed and start the rest of the day.
Mary, Mary, Mary.... what am I going to challenge you with this time......... You've done High, Low, Colour, B&W, Leading lines, Food, Abstract, Animals..... how about a nice low key shot. You might have get creative to get your Sony to behave. I tested it on my daughter's Sony Point and Shoot and it can me done... Good luck
