For weeks the dinosaurs have been begging to be allowed to play with the toys on 365.
They were ON THEIR WAY to extinction,
then made NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS to eat right and exercise,
but found themselves SLIDING back into their old bad ways.
And, still, I took no photos of them.
This week I relented and let them set up a dragon scene for this week's Toys on 365 theme.
The dragon asked me (actually insisted) that I explain that he is NOT a toy, and as an Asian dragon doesn't breathe fire, but in the absence of a European dragon he had agreed to play the part.
The scene: three intrepid dinosaurs, the triceratops, rhamphorhynchus, and dimetrdon, approach the dragon's lair. Thinking to fight fire with fire, they have brought along a weapon -- the kitchen lighter. The dragon, though, is not willing to give up his hoard without a struggle.
(PS -- the dinosaurs, while having been bought by Frank when he was a child, are not technically toys either, but hope the 365 toys will let them play. Oh please, please, please!)
and what a hoard. I think that most of the toys in the toy-project are not really toys (though they pretend to be for camo), but full-fledged characters in their own rights.
