Layers of table by mcsiegle

Layers of table

More playing with some of the shots I took of the snow-covered picnic table under the shelter out at SweetWood when I was there at the end of last month. One of three images I'm posting. The other two images were done on ribbet.com using their collage feature. This was done in PS Elements with layers. I did this one fairly quickly. At some future time I may do more experimenting with the table shots and layers.
Mary, when I first looked at this image, I wasn't sure what I was seeing. I looked again with patience in mind and it came together. For that reason I think it works. Photos should make us think and feel something. Would you mind a suggestion?

I can't make sense of your image here, but good luck.

@thirdjoe Thanks, Joe. This one is the result of some pretty hasty experimentation, but I'd like to go back and try again in a more intentional manner, so I'd love a suggestion. I always welcome feedback and suggestions.

@dannydavies Thanks, Danny. Without seeing the original shots, I think I'd have a hard time making any sense out of it myself. I appreciate your taking the time to have a look and comment.

Love a thinker shot!

@mcsiegle In my humble opinion, I think if you could add a touch more contrast it would be a plus.

Pretty cool. Looks like multiple exposures.

@lynnz @desertaura Thanks, Lynn and Beverly. Not multiple exposures in camera. My camera can't do that. It's a number of shots of different angles/portions of the picnic table, layered in Photoshop elements.

Hi Mary! Thank you for my challenge for this week! I love that your pictures have a lot of symmetrical shapes and shadows. A lot of your pictures also seem very dark and almost depressing, so my challenge for you is to capture something warm, loving, joyful, exciting, or funny. I want you to cause the viewer of the picture to smile. Have fun! :)

@thirdjoe Thanks, Joe. I appreciate the suggestion. I'll keep that in mind if I experiment further with this.
