The toys on 365 are interpreting the theme of old, antique etc etc. The dinosaurs (and the Neanderthal man) wanted to go back to their museum roots and create a diorama demonstrating the various prehistoric periods they represent. I helped them find the backgrounds.
@vignouse Not much mystery. I just went out to the internet and googled "Jurassic" or "Permian" for images and came up with these. All but the Pleistocene on the left were from some BBC web site. Then set each as the desktop background on my MAC and photographed the groups of dinosaurs standing on black cloth over a stack of books in front of the appropriate scenery. That's why, despite extra light from a lamp on the side, the dino's scenes are fairly dark.
Frank had previously kindly identified which dinosaurs were from which prehistoric period.
@mcsiegle Thanks for taking the time to explain Mary. No mystery perhaps but the way you did these is not exactly instinctive so full marks for your ingenuity.
