Pet Store Folly

My get pushed partner, Jenny @jlindros said: "A lot of your pictures also seem very dark and almost depressing, so my challenge for you is to capture something warm, loving, joyful, exciting, or funny. I want you to cause the viewer of the picture to smile. Have fun! :)" Spotted this at the pet store. When the one on the right moved, I realized they were painted snails. Not what I would go for, really, but the goofy paint job does make me smile.

Hello! I'm your get pushed partner for the week! Loved looking through your photos! You've got some really interesting subjects in your album. I noticed a lot of your images are shot inside or shot outside during the day time. This week, how about you try to shoot at different lighting conditions?... early morning, sunset, evening, outside at night are some of my ideas. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

I love how bright the contrast of the yellow is next to the muted browns. The silly face definitely stands out and is the main focus of the entire image. Very nice job!
