Whenever my son comes to visit, his cat, Nelo, comes too. It's a two hour drive from our house in Manhattan to Olathe where he lives. So poor Nelo is stuck in the carrier for two hours coming and two hours going home. This may be what she is feeling, as we put her in there. It's obvious she doesn't like it. Thankfully, she doesn't put up a huge fight.
