Insulator 1 by mcsiegle

Insulator 1

Taken at the Museum of Independent Telephony in the Dickinson County Heritage Center in Abilene, Kansas last Saturday. Those who know me, know I how I love colored glass. The museum has a simply wonderful massed display of old insulators of all different shapes and colors. They are in a see through case with insulators facing both ways. The photos I took of the massed effect were less successful, though I may try to edit one. Visible in the background are some old fashioned wall telephones.

Another insulator here:

Apologies for the mass upload of nine photos at one time. I've gotten hopelessly (almost hopelessly) behind during the last couple of weeks while we had friends and family visiting.
This one looks carved out of opal
