Debbie @deborah63 gave me the get pushed challenge of "a portrait shot using rim lighting." Well...a couple of days ago I didn't think there was anything I could do at all with the lights I have,and I begged for a different challenge. Not getting any alternative challenge, resourceful person that I am, I have made a portrait of the Allosaurus. I set up two iPods set on flashlight apps. How to take the picture, though? I had been using the one iPod to take my pictures, since the camera died. Then I realized -- Oh, yeah! The cell phone has a camera -- one that I've not really used except for a couple of trial shots -- but a camera, nonetheless. Well, this is what you get when you use that arrangement -- sort of rim lighting.
The Allosaurus was very patient with me during my experimenting with placement of iPods etc, and I thank him for his assistance.
