Charlotte

My get pushed challenge from Wendy @farmreporter was to do a portrait of a person using their hands only. This is my supervisor, Charlotte. I kind of like the way this turned out, even though I wasn't so sure when I took it. Cropping improved it. I like the way the little bit of the desk in the upper left echos her skin tones. Your opinion may vary. I welcome critique and suggestions on all my pictures.
I like the idea of a portrait without a face. This works really well and I like the way you cropped it too.

Very good and see what you mean about the skin tone and desk. An interesting challenge.

I think I prefer this shot to the ice cream parlour one. It tells much more of a story.
Charlotte is older, married, and while she does polish her nails, it appears she does do some manual labour.
I also like the way you have composed this shot leaving the upper part of the desk to complement Charlotte's skin-tone.
A FAV!

BTW, Mary - your get pushed tag has to have all three numbers and words hyphened such as get-pushed-212 in order for this shot to go to the proper page.

Please ignore my last comment - you did it correctly on the ice cream parlour shot so probably just a typing error here!

@farmreporter Thanks for alerting me to the error on the tag. I hadn't noticed that. I've corrected it now.

Great shot! I like the tones and pov...

Dear Mary @mcsiegle, we are partners for the get-pushed challenge of this week!I have taken a look at your project... wooooooow! It's so various, rich, coloured and creative! I have seen that you like to experiment new techniques... What do you think to have a try with double exposure??? Let me know if my proposal is ok for you!

@frappa77 Thanks, Francesca. Sounds like a fun challenge. Is it Ok to do in post processing? I'll check, but I don't think I can do it in camera. I've had a peek at your project and will come up with a challenge for you after I get off work at noon.

@mcsiegle
Yes, sure! I could do it only in post-processing, so I have taken it for granted! Look forward to know your challenge for me! :)
