@joysabin @ingajohansson @miseria @francoise @randystreat Thanks. I doubt it would function without being plugged in, so I did NOT discard anything into it. Sadly, I was not able to bring an extension cord later that day and by the next morning it had been replaced by an otherwise identical manual model. Rats! :-)
