Frank mugs for the camera. I gave up trying to get a "good" picture of him for my get pushed challenge to make a portrait. In all fairness, I sort of waylaid him as he got himself something to eat. The scruffy beard is appropriate to the old cowboy part he has in "Oklahoma" at the Columbian Theatre in Wamego. The haircut is NOT one I gave him (though it sometimes ends up sticking out like that after I cut it too) He actually went out and got his hair cut -- he got a bargain, too! According to the receipt, it was the twelfth haircut he had gotten there, so it looks like it was half the regular senior haircut price (which is already discounted from the normal price) so he paid only $5.50 (plus a tip, I assume) I'm sure I've surpassed the twelfth haircut long ago -- probably before they started that deal.
I'm hoping he is slicking the unruly bit of hair down before he goes on stage.
Mary we are get pushed partners this week. Am I allowed to ask you to stray from your monthly theme of B&W to include one featuring the 'colours of nature' please? Will wait to hear what you have for me.
@islambad No worries about color. I have another album -- my "Alternates" album that I've been putting color things into this month. Also, February is finished on Wednesday, leaving me Thursday through Sunday to glory in whatever color I can find for you (still looking to me kind of brown/gray outside, but those ARE colors of nature...) I just left a challenge for you in your project.
@denidouble Thanks, Deni. No, not starring in the play. He has a small role as one of the cowboys. He has in the past sometimes had major roles but not this one. He just loves being in shows. Acting and singing feed his soul.
@mcsiegle I can understand that. Loved theatre all my life but only been in amateur minor productions, it's remembering lines impresses me! I'd be hopeless lol 😃💚
Love it😃Didn't realise he was starring in the production, hope its going well. 👍🏻
