More than twelve versions by mcsiegle

More than twelve versions

These are some of the books I’ve been reading for my project on the fairy tale “The Twelve Dancing Princesses.” I’ve already returned the picture books I had checked out. A number of these are full book-length versions that take the very spare tale as published by the Grimm brothers and add an astounding variety of characters and plot elements to fill out the story.

I purposely ran this through the ToonCamera app to match the other image I did with shoes, with the intention of using in the project in its final format — a digital scrapbook.
Nice edit.

This is fascinating! My daughter obsessively collected the picture book versions in her younger days, and a favorite was Kadir Nelson's first book, Brothers of the Knight by Debby Allen

wow! who knew there were so many. The processing and display makes them look so appealing. I'd like to reach in and read one or two of them

Gosh. Who knew there were so many. I like the look of them all in a row.
