My get pushed partner, Adi @adi314 gave me this challenge: I would like you to photograph a point of view from under a bridge. The challenge will be the lighting given that is so much darker under the bridge. I would like the photograph to show details of the bridge's understructure. I went out on Friday and took a bunch of pictures. I'm posting this one to Thursday's date because I didn't like what I took on Thursday. Another photo is posted to Friday.
There were two structures side by side for the traffic above eastbound and westbound. Much easier to clearly see and capture in a photo the underside of the other one with different construction. The dark underside and much lighter sky and landscape outside did indeed pose a challenge trying to capture this one. This photo wimps out and only focuses on the underside. I do have some others where I tried to balance the two light levels. It was further complicated by the dust and junk down in the lens that shows up if the light strikes it a certain way.
