My grandmother’s brother who died when less than a month old. What is not visible in this shot is what I uncovered at the bottom after this was taken: “Of such is the Kingdom of Heaven”
@randystreat I haven’t ever tried that. Have you? Now that I’ve uncovered the bottom, I wonder if I could get a good rubbing of it. It might be pretty dirty, though, being right down to the ground.
Apparently you tape butcher's paper to the tombstone then use charcoal to rub over top. Maybe make the paper a bit longer so the earthy/dirty portion could be trimmed away.
