A day or two ago I posted a shot that I took without flash, sticking my phone down in the hole in the floor of the upstairs bathroom where I presume the toilet used to sit. It’s been a gaping hole situated behind the toilet that must have been moved forward at some point. Here’s one of the shots WITH the flash. What a difference! You could see what’s under that floor. I shot without looking, but, hey art is everywhere.
@grammyn Thanks. I myself am not laughing though. I have the sinking feeling it would cost a fortune to move the pipes down there, so we can have a bathroom that functions better.
@randystreat God, I hope not. We do have a contract for termite inspection. It’s an old house and I know there has been termite damage in the past. Slight slant to floor upstairs. Where do you see black spots? And do you think I should have cloned them out? I hate to have distracting elements in the shot.
@grammyn right, like I’m going to explore further under there. I’m lucky to have gotten some shots I liked just sticking the phone down in the hole sight unseen. 😆
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Jackie, I need to sweep the huge amount of dust from under the bed. If I procrastinate that do you suppose I’d go poking around under the bathroom floor? Especially as Katy has raised the spectre of spiders.
@grammyn you know, I wish there had been more rust under there, besides the staples holding the electric wires. I really love the look of rust in a shot.
@farmreporter ha ha ha, I suppose so, Wendy. Or more accurately, stick down the hole and shoot. 🤣 Thanks! Really I know this shot is pretty worthless except as a springboard for the silly fun dialogue we’ve had.
@aikiuser Thanks for the practical advice, though I didn’t lower the phone too far down. Yes, interesting POV — I took pics in all directions, then had to figure out which way was which, and what was what. What fun!
