Lest any of you actually fear for my safety, I had come back from the campus where I had run up to the office after dark to get something I had not brought home when I got off at 5:00 pm. I had just parked the car and glanced up in the rear view mirror to see these eyes staring back at me. Whoa! Well, of course they aren’t actually eyes. If you look carefully you can see it’s a pair of cars parked across the alley and lit up red by my brake lights. The gray areas at the bottom are the old boards still standing up against the rock wall and fence—lit up by my headlights. I cropped it on the left to get rid of a portion of my lit up back porch.
