I’m a bit disappointed with this upload because I saved this diptych as a PNG file with a transparent background. And on my phone and computer the separating and surrounding border appears white against a white background and black on a black background. In other words, actually transparent. Does anyone have an idea how to correct this when uploaded to 365? If not, please view on black. :-)
Two Extreme ETSOOI versions of the closeup and cropped pic of the roll of toilet paper featured in this abstract. https://365project.org/mcsiegle/365/2021-12-06
I couldn't begin to help you with the technical questions, but certainly do find this diptych very interesting! Can't make out the role of toilet paper, but it IS an abstract.....
I like how this looks. The only thing I know to do is to put it on a colored background on whatever processing program you're using. I've not used PNG files. I always post jpegs and they are not always satisfactory.
@randystreat@jacqbb@pdulis@farmreporter@grammyn@wakelys@aikimomm@aikimomm Thanks so much for your comments. Katy, yes, I did want the transparent background. I know that if saved as png file it works for printing purposes and for putting something else behind. I tried putting this on top of another abstract version of the same thing, but didn’t like it as well as the “no background” version. And also when I laid it on top of the other as a “watermark” it was not as sharp as this. Maybe if I had been working on the computer instead of the phone app version of ribbet... What I wanted to see was the backround of the web page show through—white normally or black, when viewed on black. But this has laid in a black background that i didn’t want to see against the white web page. I need to learn more about how it works.
I really like this on black so I think it was a success!
