A fitting subject for March 1st, Saint David’s Day :-)
Saint David, in case you don’t already know, is the patron saint of Wales. I’ve bought a number of books over the last year and a half, adding to what we already had to help learn Welsh (dysgu Cymraeg). The book on the bottom of the stack, with yellow cover Is the text for the class, only problem is I failed to notice I had ordered the North Wales version. So I ordered it again, being careful to choose the corresponding South Wales text, which we’re using in my class. That’s what is in the ring binder.
I really admire your industriousness with this effort. Certainly not an easy language to study whether it be the northern version or the southern version. I just discovered that @olivetreeann has some welsh in her so maybe the two of you can practice! Although she has told me she doesn’t speak the language.
It's all Greek, er I mean Welsh to me. I too admire that you're choosing to seriously learn this language. Truth be known, I should probably go back and take English over again.
Well done you . They tell me Welsh is not an easy language to learn .. I wouldn't know as I was born and bred in Mid Wales , so my Welsh is like North Wales Welsh but slight softer dialects . Da yawn, mwynha dysgu yr iaeth.
